Adam Wiencken
Adam Wiencken is the Percussion Specialist and Battery Arranger for Broken Arrow HS in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Broken Arrow HS was the 2011 and 2015 BOA Grand National Champion and the BOA Grand National Runner-Up in 2012, 2014, and 2017.
Broken Arrow High School Indoor Percussion has won three WGI Regional Championships and the Broken Arrow High School Percussion Ensemble performed at The 70th Midwest Clinic in Chicago, Illinois in December of 2016.
Adam is the percussion arranger for BOA Grand National Finalist Dobyns-Bennett HS as well as groups in Oklahoma, Indiana, Missouri, Kansas, Tennessee, and Texas. Adam is a freelance indoor percussion adjudicator and is the Percussion Coordinator for Winter Guard and Percussion of Oklahoma.
Adam is a Percussion Consultant at the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps. Previously, Adam was a percussion staff member at The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps from 2013-2016; in 2013, The Cadets were awarded the DCI Fred Sanford Award for High Percussion Performance. He previously served on the instructional staff for the Santa Clara Vanguard, Troopers, and Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps. Adam is an alumnus of the Madison Scouts and The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps.
Adam received his Bachelor's at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Adam is a Yamaha Performing Artist as well as an educational artist for Innovative Percussion, Inc., MEINL Percussion, Remo Drumheads, and Zildjian Cymbals.
